Welcome to Alexandria Masters Swimming.

We are a close-knit group of about 90 swimmers registered with US Masters Swimming and located in the southern area of Alexandria and Fairfax County, Virginia. US Masters Swimming is a national organization which promotes swimming for adults over 18 years old.

Some of our members join our program for fitness, while others are training for local meets, triathlons, or open-water competition. All of us enjoy the social aspects of hanging out with others who enjoy swimming.

We offer structured coached workouts throughout the year at various local pools and emphasize fitness, conditioning, and stroke mechanics. Our swimming abilities range from beginning lap swimmers to college athletes.
